Description
The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is seeking to appoint a provider with expertise in conducting Health & Safety Risk Assessments for work experience students, the majority being at the High-risk level. The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council covers a wide area including the towns of Bingley, Ilkley, Keighley and Shipley. It serves a population of over 531,200 people1 making it the fourth largest Metropolitan District Council in the country. Geographically 66% of the district is rural but 80% of people live in urban areas. Bradford has a youth population of over 150,000 young people aged 0 to 19, which represents just under 29% of our total population. Numbers of children and young people are highest in our inner-city wards where 40% of the population is aged between 0 and 19 years.
