Description

Background Hampshire County Council is undertaking some pre market engagement in August 2024 for the provision of a physical activity service to be delivered to residents across Hampshire. The objectives of the proposed service are to: a. To provide an evidence-based, physical activity intervention enabling inactive adults in Hampshire to become active for a period of 12 weeks or more b. To contribute to reducing health inequalities in Hampshire by targeting the locations and groups of people with the greatest levels of inactivity. c. To deliver a high quality service that is responsive to the requirements of the priority groups and maximises retention from enrolment to completion d. To maximise sustained behaviour change at the end of the intervention period The Council is looking to undertake market engagement with potential providers of this service.
