Description
The Environment Agency is planning to launch a new Framework to deliver groundwater modelling services across England. This framework presents a significant opportunity for suppliers to collaborate with the Environment Agency in shaping the future of groundwater modelling. Potentially, three lots to be created: Lot 1 – Modelling Work: National Groundwater Modelling Service: This service forms an integral part of the Environment Agency’s regulatory work to ensure sustainable management and protection of groundwater resources across England. Work covered here shall include data collection and verification, enhancement of existing and development of new conceptual models, numerical model construction or development, model output validation and reporting. Lot 2 – Modelling work: Groundwater Flooding Forecasting Modelling Service: This service supports the Flood Forecasting Centre’s capability to forecast groundwater flood risk at a county scale as part of the Environment Agency’s flood forecasting service.
