Description
Bristol City Council wishes to test the level of market interest in providing supported accommodation for homeless single people and childless couples. Bristol City Council currently commissions four supported accommodation pathways for homeless single adults: • Pathway 1: Men only; • Pathway 2: Mixed: men and women; • Pathway 3: Women only; • Pathway 4: Substance use (including specialist abstinent-based accommodation). To be eligible, prospective contractors must: • Own accommodation AND be a Registered Provider of Social Housing; OR • Own accommodation AND be in the process of applying to become a Registered Provider of Social Housing; OR • Lease accommodation from a Registered Provider of Social Housing. Accommodation must be: • Furnished, one-bedroom units within self-contained properties, shared houses or blocks of accommodation. • Within the geographical boundary of Bristol (i.e. cannot be in neighbouring authorities); • Available from 28 October 2024 for a period of at least 3 years.
