Description
This contract has been awarded under PSR Direct Award Option A. This contract encompasses 3 broad elements that support the overarching drug and alcohol strategy and aims of the OHID DATRIG funding. All elements are a continuation of work already taking place in 24-25. All elements are well embedded with the main Specialist Substance Misuse Service provider in the city - Turning Point. The ask is to approve award of this contract for additional supporting services through PSR Process A. • The funding is supporting existing treatment services to increase scope, coverage, and output. The existing provider of integrated substance use services in the city is known, the additional grant funded work this request is a continuation of work is already well embedded, and no other provider is positioned with the workforce and links to deliver this work. • The agreement covers additional posts to support existing work and initiatives already active in Turning Point and requires the staff to be employed by the holders of the core contract.
