Description
This procurement is being conducted by Nottinghamshire County Council on behalf of the Second Midlands EV Infrastructure Consortium (SMeviC). It is delivering a 50kW Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) on-street project, in which capital grant funding has been secured from the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV). The SMeviC is a joint project between Midlands Connect (Sub-National Regional Transport Authority), Nottinghamshire County Council (the Commissioning Body), Derby City Council, Derbyshire County Council, Nottingham City Council and Staffordshire County Council (the Commissioning Bodies). The contract will aim to provide local residential charging infrastructure, through the expansion of the number of Electric Vehicle chargepoint sockets (EVCPS) in areas with dependence on on-street parking.
