Description
*REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY* The West Mercia Police (the Authority) Fleet Decarbonisation Project aims to achieve a fully electric fleet by 2035. This transition will require the deployment of sufficient charging infrastructure across West Mercia Police sites, supported by strategic partnerships with external companies and organisations. The objective of this Request for Information (RFI) exercise, is to: a) Gain insight into the services and goods offered by leading organisations, enabling us to develop a tender process that is both accurate and concise. This will help ensure we secure the best available, future-proof solution within our budgetary constraints. b) To gain a comprehensive understanding of current technologies, associated support and maintenance provisions, and critical factors such as security and health and safety compliance. c) We would like to consider the advantages and disadvantages of different options available. The intention of this RFI is to analyse the Authority’s route to market for tender the future tender exercise.
