Description
London Borough of Ealing is seeking experienced Children’s Short Breaks providers who can achieve good outcomes for Children living in Ealing. Ealing Council currently spends approximately £1,640,000 per annum on Children’s Short Breaks. The Council is procuring a new DPV for a period of Five (5) years, to commence in May 2024, with the option to extend, in any increment, for up to 4 years. The total value is approximately £14,760,000, if all extensions used. Short Breaks and respite are part of the continuum of services that support children, young people and their families aged 0-18 years. Short Breaks enable children and young people with disabilities to develop their independence, prepare for adulthood, learn life skills, form meaningful relationships, and socialise with their peers, whilst providing a safe and secure environment for the overnight or daytime stay. Parents and carers can rest, unwind and spend some quality time with other members of the family, whilst having respite from their caring responsibilities.
