Description
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is seeking a single contractor to undertake a series of capital projects at our Colindale site. These projects, which need to be completed by March 2025, cover a range of general works including maintenance, health and safety improvements, security enhancements, facility upgrades, and equipment refurbishments. The aim of this PIN is to carry out market survey is to identify qualified contractors capable of delivering these projects efficiently and to gather relevant market information. The General works consist of: 1) Colindale - Health and Safety Works: Enhancing physical Health and Safety measures to comply with statutory obligations, mitigate risks associated with health and safety hazards (e.g., asbestos), and avoid legal and reputational damage. 2) Colindale - Fire Door Upgrade: Upgrading non-compliant fire doors to enhance fire safety, ensure regulatory compliance, reduce insurance costs, and create a safer working environment. 3) Colindale - RAAC Removal/Upgrade: Proactively mitigating RAAC collapse risks to ensure safety, demonstrate responsible building management, comply with future regulations, and safeguard laboratory infrastruc…
