Description
Watford Borough Council (‘the Council) intends to extend the contract with NSL Ltd for the provision of parking enforcement services in Watford. The contract is for the provision of enforcement of all on and off-street parking restrictions, together with the relevant supporting management, maintenance, enforcement and processing staff, including vehicle fleet, equipment, printing/posting provisions and optional ad hoc services such vehicle pound and removal. The maximum potential total of the extension sum is £3.258M million and anticipate that it would commence on 1 April 2027 when the current contracts ends (on 31 March 2027) for a period of 3 years with a break clause at year 2 on 12 months’ notice. The existing contract falls under the 2015 Public Contract Regulations. Therefore any decision on extension needs to take account of those set out in Regulation 72 of the PCR’s.
