Description
Bristol City Council (BCC) is tendering for a lead Consultant who will deliver the full business case (FBC), including detailed design and consenting, for the Bristol Avon Flood Strategy. BCC is looking to appoint a lead consultant who will coordinate a multi-disciplinary team to develop the approved Outline Business Case (OBC) into Final Business Case (FBC) including detailed design and to obtain consents for construction. A lead consultant is required to co-ordinate ground investigation, topographical and environmental surveys, land requirements, and the consultation and engagement to develop the designs for consenting (Transport and Works Act Order). They will then undertake the detailed design (RIBA stage 4) for construction. An option to retain the team until the end of the construction period is also required. This tender process is being run under the Public Contract Regulations 2015, utilising a two stage restricted process.
