Description
Icanho provides a specialist community neurorehabilitation service for adults aged 18 years and over who are registered with a GP practice in Suffolk and the Great Yarmouth and Waveney locality. The provision supports people with acquired neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, hypoxic brain injury, brain tumours and other acquired brain injuries, who require coordinated multidisciplinary rehabilitation to maximise recovery, improve functional independence and optimise quality of life. The multidisciplinary team includes physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, psychology and vocational rehabilitation, delivering personalised, goal-orientated interventions tailored to individual need. Rehabilitation addresses physical, cognitive, communication, behavioural, psychological and vocational impacts of neurological injury, whilst also supporting families and carers throughout the rehabilitation journey.
