Description

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice (via Direct Award C). The BNSSG Community Urology Service will provide rapid access, one stop assessment and diagnostic service for routine urological conditions, delivered in non-hospital settings linked to the six BNSSG GP Localities. The service will work in an integrated way with other providers of urology services in primary, community and secondary care to provide patients with the most appropriate urology pathway to meets their needs. The service includes: • A triage service where all non 2 week wait referrals are triaged by the Provider with support from the BNSSG Referral Support Service. This ensures that all patients appropriate for community services will be seen by the provider and any urgent or acute referrals are sent on to an Acute provider. • The BNSSG Urology advice and guidance service with 100% of requests being responded to within 7 working days. • An assessment, diagnostic and treatment service for patients with routine and urgent non-cancerous urological conditions.
