Description
Ceredigion County Council is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and competent suppliers to a national framework agreement for the supply and delivery of Catering Packaging Products. This tender exercise builds upon the previous framework which was the result of a collaborative project in which Ceredigion County Council, Torfaen County Borough Council, Caerphilly County Borough Council, Monmouthshire County Council and Pembrokeshire County Council worked together with Welsh Government to find the best ways of delivering the aims and objectives of the Wellbeing and Future Generations Act through Tender exercises and contracts. The aim of the project is also ultimately to assist the Welsh Public Sector Organisations in meeting their sustainability goals and objectives through the products they purchase under this framework. Therefore, bidders must be aware of the strong emphasis on achieving the goals and objectives of the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act in this tender exercise and the requirement to deliver those through the resulting framework.
