Description
The MHRA wishes to purchase software to ensure it has a working backup and archiving solution deployed. The Agency is seeking to establish a working solution that can support a variety of backups across a range of platforms – from our most critical applications that must be highly available, to archives that are kept only to meet regulatory requirements. The Agency requires a comprehensive backup and archive strategy, emphasizing efficiency and effectiveness in data management. A unified ‘single pane of glass’ management console is needed to provide the Agency with a consolidated view of its backup and archive estate and status. The Agency requires either a single solution or one that is minimal in number and the Agency wants to avoid managed services. The solution should seamlessly integrate with both on-premises and cloud storage. For the avoidance of doubt, any information provided to the MHRA in response to this RFI will be treated as confidential and non-binding. No contract will be awarded as a consequence of this RFI process, however, the MHRA may launch a procurement opportunity in the near future.
