Description
The current contract for the ACTION ON ENERGY CAMBRIDGESHIRE RETROFIT FRAMEWORK is due to expire in May 2027. It is proposed that the Council undertakes a procurement exercise to award a replacement contract so that service delivery may continue uninterrupted at the end of the current contract. The Cambridgeshire Energy Retrofit Partnership (CERP) is a partnership of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough local authorities that has worked together for many years to support the retrofit challenge to alleviate fuel poverty and maximise energy efficiency. Operating under the brand "Action on Energy Cambridgeshire", the partnership has a track record of securing significant levels of government funding as well as engaging its communities to participate in energy efficiency schemes. Cambridge City Council as the Lead Authority will contract with no more than 6 Suppliers on behalf of itself and the other Authorities under the Partnership. Suppliers shall provide a "whole-house, fabric first" approach to retrofit delivering energy efficiency solutions in accordance with PAS 2035:2023.
