Description

Evides heeft in totaal 51 zinkers door de grotere waterwegen waaronder rivieren en kanalen. Deze zinkers zijn opgenomen in een monitorprogramma. Op basis van de peilingen en door het maken van verschilkaarten van de voorafgaande peilingen kan tijdig worden geconstateerd of de rivierbodem in de nabije omgeving van de zinker onderhevig is aan overmatige erosie. Door het monitorprogramma kan inzicht worden verkregen in te nemen maatregelen ter bescherming van de zinkers.
