Predmetom súťaže je návrh urbanistického riešenia pre transformáciu územia Zimného prístavu, ktorý predstavuje unikátnu príležitosť vytvoriť na dunajskom nábreží živú mestskú štvrť. Cieľom je premena dnes uzavretého, monofunkčného aktívneho logistického areálu pre nákladnú dopravu a prekládku materiálov na otvorenú, živú a kompaktnú mestskú štvrť priamo na nábreží Dunaja. Hľadá sa návrh prostredia založený na princípoch mesta krátkych vzdialeností, s prioritou pešieho pohybu, kvalitných verejných priestorov a modro-zelenej infraštruktúry.
