Description
The Gambling Authority invites tenderers to a tender contest and the aim is to have a major national survey conducted among young people where gaming/gambling behaviour in general and the extent of problems should be mapped. The investigation shall highlight participation in money games, computer games and games in the grey area between money and computer games. The project starts autumn 2024. The result of the investigation must be published before 1st of October 2025. The report must be in Norwegian, and in addition contain summaries in both Norwegian and English. Norwegian is otherwise the language for carrying out the survey and thus, among other things, data collection. Before the report is published, it must be reviewed by two external researchers with experience in the field. The survey has a maximum cost limit of NOK 5,000,000 (incl. VAT). This is dependent on final allocation / full funding from the Ministry of Culture and Equality. The survey will be carried out in a representative sample of young people in Norway with answers from a minimum of 8,500 people aged 12 to 17 years.
