Description
We intend to purchase a scientific technology enabling experiments in explanted, intact, and functionally working hearts from large animals (large pigs, sheep). The technology permits edgecutting research on mechanisms involved in heart diseases. The technology is expected to be used 2-4 times monthly for +5 years by scientific and technical personnel. The technology will be installed in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, UCPH.
