Description

The Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command (later referred to as Contracting Entity) is hereby pleased to call for your tenders for Wedge clambs in accordance with this request for quotation and its appendices. The wedge clamps under procurement are used as deployment aid for fixing tactical field cables in various terrains. They are needed for tactical field fiber optic cable line construction utility. It makes it easier and faster to fix the cable to the ground or trees and to build over obstacles such as rivers and roads. Building a optical cable line, wedge clamps are used to clamp optical cable to a suitable place in the field, for example on the branches of the trees. On the basis of competitive bidding, a procurement contract shall be signed between the Contracting Entity and the selected Tenderer. The contract period is one (1) years. The amount to be procured in the year 2024 is 5000 pieces +/- 20 %. The procurement includes 5000 pieces yearly option for years 2025, 2026 and 2027. The use of the Option is at the sole discretion of the Customer. The annual option will be used fully or partly.
