De warmte in het warmtetransportnet van WarmtelinQ wordt getransporteerd middels geconditioneerd water. Gasunie wil middels deze aanbestedingsprocedure een opdrachtnemer contracteren die water kan conditioneren tot de juiste kwaliteit om daarmee het warmtetransportnet van WarmtelinQ in de verschillende projectfasen te vullen.
