Description
The Royal Dutch Meteorological Institute (KNMI) represented by Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management intends to negotiate with “Met Office" (Met Office, FitzRoy Road, Exeter, Devon EX1 3PB, United Kingdom), and possibly award an order on the basis of Article 2.32 paragraph 1 sub b 2# AW for "alert service". Based on the matching of the available suppliers and systems identified in our survey with our scientific/programmatic requirements, KNMI concludes that there is only one supplier that meets the specific demands of KNMI. In the context of voluntary transparency (ex Art. 4.16 Aw), KNMI has decided to publish its intention to use the negotiation procedure with prior voluntary transparency as referred to in Article. 2.32 paragraph 1 sub b 2° AW. This notice shall only be used to make the intended choice of procedure known in advance to the market, with the aim of giving interested parties the opportunity to raise any objections. For more information please see the Annex. 330.000
