Description
Deze vrijwillige transparantie betreft de vervanging van de apparatuur voor automatische chemische en microscopische analyse van urine (strip/sediment). De nieuwe urine analyzers moeten in staat zijn bacteriën en endotheelcellen kwantitatief te kunnen aantonen; met deze functionaliteit is de medische microbiologie in staat onnodige urinekweken te voorkomen. In de toekomst zullen hierdoor alle urinemonsters van de medische microbiologie waarbij een kweek is aangevraagd eerst gescreend worden door de apparatuur op het RLD. Door deze beoogde toename van de monsterstroom is tevens een bi-directionele koppeling met de track wenselijk om goede doorlooptijden te kunnen behouden. Uit de marktconsultatie met Mercell nummer T131660 is gebleken dat er slechts één leverancier kan voldoen aan de benodigde functionaliteit.
