Description

Voor het operationele en tactische waterbeheer is beschikbaarheid van actuele meteorologische en hydrologische informatie essentieel. Nu periodes met langdurige droogte en de kans op wateroverlast toenemen is inzicht in de actuele en verwachte condities nodig. Met de huidige informatieservice WIWB 1.0 beschikken de waterschappen over landsdekkende, actuele meteogegevens. De contractperiode van deze voorziening eindigt op 31-12-2024, daarmee werd het realiseren van een nieuwe voorziening noodzakelijk. Zie hoofdstuk 2 van de leidraad.
