Description
Sykehusinnkjøp HF intends, on behalf of Helse Stavanger HF, to enter into a contract with Essilor Norge AS for the procurement of one OCT machine for the Eye Department. The agreement shall also include an option for the procurement of one additional OCT machine for the new hospital, work table, supplementary procurement of viewer licences and service. The contracting authority has carried out a market survey on this basis that there are no other OCT tenderers who can fulfil all of the following minimum requirements: Compatibility with Topcon viewer and patient database, Swept-source laser source Fundusfoto Eye Department currently has 2 items. Topcon OCT apparatuses in daily operation. When purchasing OCT from another supplier, SUS must operate with 2 different databases and 2 different diagnostic viewer systems. This will not be compatible with either good patient safety or efficiency. It will make it demanding to monitor patient pathways and important changes can be easily overlooked.
