Die Regierung von Oberfranken vergibt die Verpflegungsleistung für Asylbewerber in der AEO Oberfranken. Die Leistung umfasst eine Vollverpflegung mit Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen. Zusätzlich sollen bei Bedarf Lunchpakete, Sonderkost und Babynahrung zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Das Speiseangebot muss neben kulturspezifischen Essgewohnheiten auch religiöse Aspekte berücksichtigen (u.a. Ramadan)
