Description

The Contract encompasses the annual ISV testing of heavy-duty vehicles for the period[1] from 1 July 2026 to the middle of 2033. The Contract also encompasses the acquisition, inspection and modification, if relevant, of the necessary vehicles, including transport to and from the test locations. Each year, the RDW will determine the families to be tested and distribute the related testing tasks and vehicle procurement among the Contractors. With respect to the timelines, the ISV test period for 2026 will entail a higher average load because the 2025 ISV test period must also be performed retroactively during 2026[2]. [1] ISV-HDV test periods run from 1 July of a specific year up to and including 30 June of the following year, in accordance with (EU) 2019/1242, Art. 3, point 3bis. ‘reporting period’ [2] The legislation and the supervisory task for ISV-HDV entered into force as of 1 June 2025.
