Upphandlingen omfattar internrevision som har till uppgift att stödja och utveckla beställarens verksamhet genom att granska, utvärdera och lämna förslag till förbättringar av beställarens interna styrning och kontroll och verksamhet. Kommuninvest har ingen egen funktion för internrevision. Den upphandlande internrevisionen ska således ta ett helhetsansvar.
