Description
Beschaffung von Server- und Netzwerkkomponenten (Erneuerung der Vulcan Cluster): Am Höchstleistungsrechenzentrum der Universität Stuttgart (HLRS) werden zwei redundante Rechencluster in unabhängigen Rechenräumen betrieben. Aufgrund der gestiegenen Anforderungen ist ein Technologieupdate unumgänglich. Dabei ist vorgesehen Server der Haswell-Generation soweit möglich gegen Server mit aktueller Prozessortechnologie zu ersetzen. Mit diesem Tausch soll ebenfalls ein Update der Netzwerktechnologie erfolgen. Im Übrigen wird auf die Leistungsbeschreibung verwiesen.
