Description

The scope of the project involves a set of measures to improve road safety on 7 transport corridors and the central part of the city of Kharkiv by changing the organization of traffic and the use of modern equipment for traffic control. In order to be able to control the intersection network as a single system it is planned to upgrade the Dispatching Center for Monitoring and Management of Traffic Control to achieve stable and efficient operation of the Traffic management system, Network Management System and Video Management System. VMS platform must be capable to process video streams from the planned for installation cameras, and current video surveillance resources of the enterprise, and provide the result of the video analysis in the form of traffic flow parameters, which could be used both as a source for suggestions to the traffic control operators and as a basis for adaptive control algorithms operation including Artificial Intelligence-based Intelligent Transportation System.
