Description

In 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 en 2025 publiceerde het RIVM de resultaten van een onderzoek naar de stofdepositie en de daarbij horende gezondheidsrisico’s voor kinderen in de IJmond. Wij vragen het RIVM om in 2026 wederom een stofdepositieonderzoek uit te voeren in de IJmond. De stofdepositieonderzoeken zijn bedoeld om de hoeveelheid PAK en zware metalen in stofdepositie in de IJmond te monitoren. Het is onze bedoeling om de emissie van Tata Steel – en de effecten daarvan voor de immissie en stofdepositie in de IJmond – in beeld te brengen. Met deze monitoring willen wij volgen of het effect van de maatregelen die Tata Steel neemt om de emissies te verminderen is terug te zien in de leefomgeving van Tata Steel, meer specifiek in de hoeveelheid PAK en zware metalen in de stofdepositie. Voorzien is dat deze opdracht is afgerond in het derde kwartaal 2027.
