A Pannon Egyetem a hálózati biztonság növelése, kibervédelmi képességeinek fejlesztése érdekében újgenerációs tűzfalrendszer és kapcsolódó szolgáltatások beszerzését kezdeményezi a meglévő berendezései mellé. Az eszközöknek határvédelmi (perimeter) és hálózati szegmentációs (segmentation gateway) szerepkört is el kell látniuk.
