Description
For the study of friction-switchable surfaces at nanometer scales, ultrahigh temperature ceramic coatings and nanocomposite materials, the University of Groningen (hereinafter: the UG) requires a micro-tribology tester and nanoindentor with an integrated heating stage. It is important for the UG to be able to map at the nanoscales the mechanical and tribological properties of advanced materials and processed surfaces for different applications.
