Gestiegene Schülerzahlen haben dazu geführt, dass das Wiedtal-Gymnasium in Neustadt/Wied sowohl hinsichtlich seiner Hauptnutzflächen als auch seiner Nebennutzfläche, an seine Kapazitätsgrenzen stößt. Aufgrund dessen soll ein Neubau von Sanitäranlagen sowie Klassenräumen erfolgen. Weiterhin soll die Herstellung der Barrierefreiheit erfolgen. Hier soll die Tragwerksplanung beauftragt werden.
