Description

The Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) has entered into a contract on 11 December 2025 with Lockheed Martin Global, Incorporated, (Lockheed Martin), concerning the acquisition of Fixed Air Defence Radars (FADR), including support for sustainment and training. The contract covers the acquisition of three FADRs to be installed at different sites across the Kingdom of Denmark, and an option for DALO to procure one additional FADR. The contract is divided into two agreements: 1) a contract regarding the delivery and installation of the FADRs (the Acquisition Contract), and 2) a framework agreement (the Sustainment Agreement) regarding support for sustainment (spare parts, repair services and technical support) and training for a period of up to 25 years The overall purpose of the acquisition is to replace and expand the existing radar capacity thereby improving and expanding airspace surveillance over the Kingdom of Denmark.
