Description
Die Technische Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe plant die Errichtung eines Forschungszentrums für postfossile Mobilität und Energieträger im ländlichen Raum auf dem Innovation Campus in Lemgo. Das Mobilitätszentrum UrbanLand (MZL) bietet als neue Forschungsinfrastruktur Wissenschaftlern, Entscheidungsträgern sowie der Gesellschaft die Möglichkeit, technologieoffen an einer multimodalen, vernetzten und nachhaltigen Mobilität zu forschen. Auf einer Bruttogrundfläche von etwa 2.100 m² wird in enger Kooperation zwischen der TH OWL und dem iFE - Institut für Energieforschung sowie weiteren Hochschuleinrichtungen eine einzigartige Forschungseinrichtung rund um das Thema der effizienten, klimaund ressourcenschonenden Mobilität von Morgen entstehen. Zur Realisierung des Projektes wurden Bundeszuwendungen aus dem Förderfeld „Klimaneutrale Antriebstechnologien und Erneuerbare Kraftstoffe“ beantragt.
