Description
General Description TenneT intends to procure insurance cover for it's offshore assets with a new Property Damage Insurance Policy with a new policy inception date 1st January 2025. The OAR Program (offshore all-risk insurance / Property Damage offshore) includes: - Property insurance for all current and future German and Dutch offshore grid connection assets as currently insured in the Offshore Machinery policy “Offshore Property Package Policy” - NorNed, Cobra, NordLink and possible future interconnectors. - The offshore assets are defined as the substation/converter station at sea, the cable connecting this station to the land station and the land station forming part of this connection. The insurance program shall cover a capacity of 1 bn EUR and will be structured in a Primary policy (400 Mio. EUR) and an additional Excess layer (600 Mio. EUR) . Tenderer get the opportunity to quote for Primary coverage and/or for Excess layer.
