Hankinnan kohteena on suunterveydenhuollon tarveaineet. Hankinnassa on kaksi osa-aluetta, joihin molempiin valitaan yksi ensisijainen ja kaksi täydentävää toimittajaa. Tarjoajat antavat hinnat vertailukorin tuotteille tarjouspyynnön liitteenä olevalla hintalomakkeella. Ensisijaiseksi toimittajaksi valitaan toimittaja, joka tarjoaa vähimmäismäärän vertailukorin tuotteista ja jonka painotettu vertailukorin hinta on edullisin. Ensisijaisella toimittajalla osa-alueessa 1 tulee olla tilaus- ja varastonhallintajärjestelmä, jonka vähimmäisominaisuudet on kuvattu otsikon "Osan kuvaus" alla.
