Description

The subject of the contract is the supply, delivery, unloading, siting and installation, and training (where applicable) of the following supplies: general purpose electronic equipment for the administration and inspection; specialty measuring and other equipment for inspectors and data collection in fisheries; Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) devices for large vessels and location tracking and reporting devices for small fishing vessels and vehicles with cargo capacity for inspectors’ field work and transportation of confiscated items.The purpose of the contract is to improve administrative and inspection capacities of the Directorate for Fisheries for ensuring further harmonization with EU requirements and for ensuring effective control, inspection and enforcement of the rules of the Common Fisheries Policy.
