Studie bestehend aus zwei Teilstudien. Teilstudie A umfasst die fahrplantechnische und infrastrukturelle Untersuchung der Korridore Ulm – Augsburg und Ulm – Donauwörth – Ingolstadt – Regensburg. Teilstudie B umfasst die fahrplantechnische und infrastrukturelle Untersuchung des Knotens Ulm. Die Teilstudie A untersucht Fahrplankonzepte, aus welchen sich ggf. noch zusätzlich notwendige Infrastruktur ableitet, während der Schwerpunkt der Teilstudie B auf Dimensionierung von Infrastruktur gerichtet ist.
