Description
Framework Agreement - Installation of Structural Health Monitoring System on 2GW HVDC-Platforms in the North Sea The Contractor's scope of services includes in particular the installation of a Structural Health Monitoring System (SHM System) on the 2GW HVDC-platforms. TenneT Offshore awarded fourteen (14) 2GW offshore converter platforms for installation in the German and Dutch Exclusive Economic Zone for connecting offshore wind farms to the onshore supply grid, which are to be equipped with a system for structural monitoring. The platforms are based on the same FEED design providing a high degree of standardization throughout the program. The most important dynamic parameters to be determined for system identification are Natural frequencies and mode shape; Damping; Vibration intensity and Trend maps. This document describes the functional minimum requirements for the structural health monitoring system (SHM) to be installed on the 2GW offshore HVDC platforms.
