Description
As a basis for periodic audits of the hunting and catch times, the Norwegian Environment Agency wants a together position of the knowledge basis for a total of 52 species of mammals and birds, of which 15 are categorised as foreign species, as well as an assessment of whether other species can potentially and from a biological perspective can be harvested. We also ask for a professional assessment of whether there are other species that may be relevant to harvest, the need for knowledge and the need for future initiatives, as well as other regulations of hunting such as bag-limit, differentiated geographical limitations in time and nature etc. Tenderers shall also, after the deadline expired 31 February 2026, assess comments on advance input from government managers, counties and advocacy organisations as a basis for the professional assessment of harvesting.
