Předmětem veřejné zakázky je rekonstrukce Domova mládeže, konkrétně její II. až IV. etapa. Budova Domova mládeže je situovaná na nám. TGM, památkově a architektonicky významného prostoru baťovské architektury, který je součástí městské památkové rezervace. Stavby z 30. a 40. let 20. století tvoří ojedinělý urbanistický soubor, jehož autorem je F.L.Gahura. Jedná se o stavby typické svou konstruktivistickou architekturou, viditelnou železobetonovou konstrukcí sloupů a průvlaků, cihelných vyzdívek z režného zdiva a rastrových oken.
