Description
The competition is for contracts for the hire of sheltered accommodation flats with the right to award. Horten municipality has an increasing need for rental housing/sheltered accommodation flats for rent and is therefore seeking cooperation with professional developers who would like to offer concepts for rental housing. The municipality would like to enter into award agreements that give flexibility for several housing projects or concepts, adapted to different needs in the market. The contracts will mean that the municipality takes on the rent relationship and will have the right to award rented accommodations to its housing seekers in the selected projects. The agreements are supported by financing options through Husbanken and the concepts must therefore meet Husbanken's investment subsidy requirements. The municipality intends to enter into a 30 year rent contract with one or several tenderers and shall be the tenant in the rent contract with the tenderers. The municipality has the right to award the contract and will sublease the residences to persons with a need for 24 hour health and welfare services.
