Description

WSTAR infrastructure to be established in Vaasa provides a foundation for research and education on developing, integrating, and operating future zero-emission data centres. WSTAR will be established in the research and development laboratory Technobothnia, co-owned by the University of Vaasa (UVA), Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (VAMK) and Novia University of Applied Sciences (www.technobothnia.fi). ÅAU has recently founded a new masterʼs program in CE in Vaasa, and the establishment of WSTAR in Technobothnia will also automatically increase the collaboration between ÅAU and the Technobothnia founding partners. With this invitation to tender we will procure three (3) different server racks for the WSTAR infrastructure with the specifications specified in this invitation for tender and its annexes. The racks will be installed at the research laboratory Technobothnia (Puuvillakuja 3, FI-65200 Vaasa). The research laboratory is being built and is expected to be completed in July/August 2025. The delivery of the server racks will be made 1 week after the completion of the laboratory.
