Description
The Senior Expert will provide consulting services to GRID-Arendal’s work on Marine Environment, the programme on Waste and Marine Litter and the programme on Transboundary Governance and Environmental Crime. Over the last decade, GRID-Arendal’s Marine Environment Programme has gained significant experience from managing programmes in West Africa on sustainable ocean governance and conservation of blue forests. Part of the responsibilities of the Senior Expert will be to support the continuation and expansion of such programmes. The aim is to expand good practice to new countries in the region, secure funding from relevant donors and maintain relevant partner and stakeholder relationships in the region.
