In English: HUS Group was looking for suppliers/companies on the market whose selections include SEEG-electrodes and corticography grid/strip-electrodes. SEEG-electrodes: In Helsinki University Hospital intracranial stereotactic EEG studies (SEEG) are performed annually as part of epilepsy surgery investigations. 10-20 of them are made per year. Examinations typically last from 8 days to 3 weeks, for individual patients 4 weeks. Grid and strip electrodes for corticography: Some epilepsy surgeries, the so-called corticography, i.e. the epileptic activity of the cerebral cortex is measured during surgeryto ensure the extent of the epileptogenic area and adequacy of resection. Disposable ones are used for registrations plate electrodes. Before the resection, the measurement is made on the surface of the cerebral cortex, as a rule, with a large grid plate electrode. Most commonlyto cover the entire area to be registered, a 4x4 electrode plate is required, where the electrodes are spaced 10 mm apart.
