De opdracht bestaat uit het beoordelen van dossiers en het ondersteunen bij aanvragen van voorliggende voorzieningen en bezwaren. Deze opdracht heeft als doel de inwoner recht te geven op de juiste voorziening en te besparen op uitkeringsgeld. Daarbij hoort ook kennisoverdracht op het gebied van voorliggende voorzieningen aan de medewerkers van Sociale Zaken Maastricht Heuvelland.
