Description

The object of this procurement is the delivery of satellite orthomosaic images to the National Land Survey of Finland ("NLS") . The Production areas to be ordered are based on the national laser scanning and aerial imaging programme, under which Finland will be laser scanned and aerially imaged over a period of six years, excluding the northernmost parts of Lapland. This procurement forms part of the NLS' preparedness for the situation where aerial images cannot be obtained from all production areas due to GNSS interference. Accordingly, the NLS does not commit to purchasing any satellite orthomosaic images from the chosen suppliers. The object of the procurement and the production areas are described in more detail in Appendix 1 Technical requirements. See also chapters 11 and 12 of the Appendix A Contract. TERM OF THE CONTRACT The contract enters into force upon signature.
